Frequently asked questions
The full answers, no runaround — about the product, pricing, fiscal invoicing and your patients' data.
The product and pricing
How much does Sonrisario cost?
Three plans — Standard, Premium and Elite — with prices published in Dominican pesos (ITBIS included) and in US dollars. Your first month costs half, with every feature of the plan you choose. The per-plan detail is on the pricing page.
Do I need to install anything or buy a server?
No. Sonrisario runs in the browser — computer, tablet or phone — with nothing to install and no server to maintain at the practice. You sign in with your account and your second factor, from wherever you are.
Can I bring the patients I already have?
Yes. You can register your current archive and import your paper forms: the system detects your forms' checkboxes in the browser and, if your practice opts in, AI transcribes handwriting — always with your review before saving.
How does the first-month trial work?
Instead of a limited free trial, your first month costs half — 50% off whichever plan you choose, with every feature, nothing held back. If it's not for you, cancel and the next month is never charged.
How can I pay?
In US$ with any card today. Local RD$ billing is on the way — we are onboarding a Dominican processor; meanwhile you can also arrange a bank transfer with us (DOP prices include ITBIS).
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, from Settings → Plan in one click. You keep the plan until the end of the paid period and your clinical data stays accessible forever: clinical records are retained as health regulations require, and your full export is always one click away.
How safe is my patients' data?
ID numbers, phones and addresses are stored with bank-grade encryption. Every practice is isolated at the database level and every access lands in a tamper-proof audit log (Law 172-13). The technical details are in the Privacy policy.
Can my team use the system?
Yes. Invite doctors, assistants, reception and billing with least-privilege roles: reception and billing never see clinical information.
Invoicing and the DGII
Can I issue e-CF with Sonrisario already?
Today you invoice with NCF from day one. e-CF is built and integrated with a certified provider, and DGII certification is in progress, with the November 15, 2026 deadline ahead. Once complete, you issue e-CF from the same invoicing flow, without changing systems.
What is an e-CF and how is it different from the classic NCF?
The NCF is the fiscal receipt number the DGII authorizes in sequences. The e-CF is the electronic fiscal receipt of Law 32-23: a digitally signed document the DGII validates online at the moment it is issued. It's not a PDF with a number — it's an official format with a digital signature and immediate validation.
How do I correct an invoice I already sent?
With a credit note (type 34) that reverses or adjusts the original receipt: after submission there is no voiding. In Sonrisario the credit note is issued inside the same invoicing flow, with its own fiscal sequence.
Can my accountant keep doing their thing?
Yes — with better inputs: the 607 comes out ready, built from the receipts issued. Your practice's general accounting (606, IT-1, IR-17, journal entries) remains your accountant's turf; Sonrisario invoices and corrects where care happens — it doesn't try to be an accounting system.
